Job Title: Full-time Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Medford, Oregon (in-person)
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Position Summary

Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in financial operations? We are seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to handle accounts payable duties and assist with clerical, administrative, and accounting data entry tasks. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently. If you are skilled in managing multiple tasks, maintaining accuracy, and working ethically in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on our team!

What You’ll Do:

  • Accounts Payable: Accurately process invoices, verify purchase orders, track expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors while maintaining accurate records.

  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolving payment discrepancies and responding to inquiries.

  • Clerical & Administrative Tasks: Perform various office duties such as filing, scanning, document organization, and managing mail.

  • Data Entry: Enter and update financial information in the accounting system with precision, ensuring all data is properly recorded and maintained.

  • Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date AP records.

  • Support to Accounting Team: Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare financial reports, assist with audits, and handle ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.

Skills, Proficiencies & Systems:

  • Accounting Software: Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is required.

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Strong skills in Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word, and *Outlook for managing documents and communications.

  • Data Management: High proficiency in data entry, maintaining accuracy, and organizing financial records using digital systems.

  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with accounts payable procedures, general ledger entries, and expense tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or similar financial roles.

  • 2 years in Quickbooks

  • 2 years in Excel

  • 2 years in Bookkeeping

Skills Training:

  • Excel Basic, Bookkeeping basic.

  • Education: An associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, but relevant experience may substitute.

  • Clerical Experience: Familiarity with standard office administrative tasks and record-keeping.
