Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist
Location: Medford, Oregon (in-person)
Part-time (20 hours/week)
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Maslow Project, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth experiencing homelessness in Medford, Oregon, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting with community partners, raising awareness about Maslow Project's mission, and expanding our reach to better serve vulnerable youth in our community.

What you'll do:

  • Represent Maslow Project at community outreach events (includes occasional weekend events)

  • Prepare materials and equipment for tabling

  • Engage with community members in a friendly, informative way

  • Take quality photos and videos for use on social media and in other materials

  • Assist in developing outreach materials using Canva (including flyers, handouts and social media posts).

  • Support coordination of volunteer and partner activities (e.g. supply drives).

  • Maintain organization and inventory of outreach materials.

  • Assist with donor acknowledgments, receipts and mailings.

Who you are:

  • A passionate advocate for youth experiencing homelessness, committed to Maslow Project's mission

  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Experienced in building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders

  • Proactive and resourceful, with a knack for identifying opportunities and solving problems

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms

  • Spanish proficiency a plus
